Stamped, Molded, Extruded, and Forged Components

Esco Precision produces formed components at production volume: progressive-die and short-run stampings, injection-molded engineering-resin parts, custom aluminum and plastic extrusions, and open- and closed-die forgings finish-machined in-house, for equipment manufacturers who need consistent parts at a competitive piece price.

Formed processes deliver volume economics that machining alone cannot. Stamping produces brackets, mounts, contacts, and formed sheet-metal parts on progressive dies; injection molding produces polymer guides, wear parts, housings, and covers in engineering resins; extrusion produces guide rail, guarding, enclosure, and heat-sink profiles; and forging produces high-strength parts where grain flow matters, finish-machined to print.

Esco designs and builds or sources the tooling, qualifies it with a first-article inspection, and runs production under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system with documented control plans. Secondary operations, machining, plating, anodizing, and powder coating, are integrated so parts ship complete.

Tooling and process are matched to each part number’s annual volume and target price, from short-run tooling for hundreds of pieces to hardened progressive dies and multi-cavity molds for high-volume programs.

Frequently asked questions

Do you build the tooling for stamped and molded parts?

Yes. Esco designs and builds or sources progressive dies, molds, and extrusion dies, qualifies them with a first-article inspection, and maintains them over the life of the program.

What volumes do formed processes suit?

Short-run tooling serves hundreds of pieces; progressive dies and multi-cavity molds serve high-volume programs. Tooling investment is matched to the annual volume and target price of each part number.
